14th AXDW: Day 1

On Friday, October 18th I had the pleasure to be invited to the presentation of Panos Emporio new perfumes collection. Panos Papadopoulos, the designer was there, as well as Mrs Charlotte Wrangberg, the Swedish ambassador.

As you can see, there are 3 perfumes in the collection: Goldflower, Coco Sun, and PANOS EMPORIO L' Homme. They all take us back to sunny days and hot summer nights.

That day I also attended the Makis Tselios fashion show. I loved the collection, it was just what we expected from the well-known Greek designer. Let me show you the pictures I took:

Aida AXDW show: The hair styling rehearsal

Some days ago I had the pleasure to attend the hair styling rehearsal for the Aida Athens Xclusive Designers Week show. It took place at Vassilis P. Diamantopoulos hair studio, Kifisia.

All the hair products used are from Toni&Guy.

In the pic we can see Vassilis Diamantopoulos, his assistant, and the model, Sissy Papatsori. Sissy will be one of the models in today's show.

Of course, I asked the designer about the models' make up: It's all about thick eyeliner and pink lipstick.

As you can see, the hairstyle is romantic as well.

Laskaris AXDW show: The make up rehearsal

Some days ago I was invited to attend the make up rehearsal for the Laskaris Athens Xclusive Designers Week show. The make up was done with Make Up For Ever products, as always.
Let me show you the photos I took, just for you:

Let's meet the make up artist, Freddy Kalobratsos (FREDDY MAKE UP STAGE) and the model, Alicja Troushi.

 The make up mr Laskaris chose is inspired by the deep blue sea: He wanted the models to look like mermaids.

I also asked the designer about the hairstyle: He wants to create the impression that the sea breeze is blowing through the models' wavy hair.

Of course, I couldn't resist asking about the show: As you may know, mr Laskaris collaborated with Make a Wish organization to make young Fani's wish to be a fashion designer true: During his show he will present 3 dresses that Fani has designed (She will be wearing one of them in the show finale).

Except for that, there will be 25 female and 8 male models, and a big surprise in the finale (Sorry, I promised not to reveal details, but I can assure you that the show will be really interesting).

The collection as you have guessed is inspired by the sea. In fact, when I asked mr Laskaris to give us a hint, he smiled and said: 'Imagine of the Mermaid, the sister of Alexander the Great'.

Innocence lost

It's been a long time since I published a post, but here I am again: The weather is really cold right now and I miss these warm days, when no coat was needed. Like that one:

When the weather is good I'm really into ethnic outfits, with a personal twist of course, like that ear cuff (a recent obsession) or the high waist skirt (an old love).

The Harry Potter Week

As you may know, Litsa and I are huge fans of Harry Potter. So, when we learned about the Harry Potter week at Cap Cap we knew we wouldn't miss it for the world. Fani, who loves the books as well, joined us. What do you say, are you ready to let the magic surround you?

After our lunch, we visited the bathroom to make some polyjuice potion. Thank God Moaning Myrtle wasn't there, she can be so annoying.

Li's outfit. She made the 'Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azcaban' necklace book especially for that day. The snitch is what we both bought from Cap Cap, I promise I'll wear mine soon.

There's a Platform 9 3/4 in Greece, too. But don't tell anyone, Muggles should never know about it.
