Swarovski: Kingdom of Jewels

On Thursday 3/5 I was glad to be invited at the Swarovski preview of the Kingdom of Jewels collection (Autumn/Winter 2012-2013). It was hosted at Faust, a beautiful bar-theater at Monastiraki. Do you want to take a look at the collection?























































Fact: Litsa plays the guitar, so she really liked this bright red Gibson.









The main colors are red, black, silver and gold, and clearly the collection is inspired by the baroque statement pieces of the past centuries, though there are many girlie pieces too.

And that's me, wearing the Marni for H&M dress I bought and my relatively new Zara booties.



A printed dress like this is not suitable only for bohemian or ethnic outfits, but can also be part of a preppy outfit, if combined with the right accessories (a satchel bag and oxford shoes or booties).











We had a really nice time: There were champagne cocktails, yummy finger food and live rock music!



Let me present you Kelly Kaltsi and the Special K'z ! They performed many song covers, such as Meds-Placebo, Bang Bang-Nancy Sinatra, Erase/Rewind- The Cardigans, and Black Velvet-Alannah Myles.
